The antiparasitic combination of its components acts effectively against cestodes (taenia), nematodes (round worms) and Dirofilaria immitis larvae, on dogs and cats, which confers a broad spectrum on mixed infestations. Its pleasant flavor makes the dosage easy because dogs, as well as cats, ingest it by its own means, avoiding the direct contact with the dog's and cat's mouth which are going to be treated.

It is the drug of choice on cestode infestations treatment due to its praziquantel content, administered on high doses it is effective over the immature stages on the intermediate host; and because of its content on febantel it is the drug of choice for Giardiasis treatment.
