Third Generation Fluoroquinolone, Broad Spectrum and Wide Tissue Distribution

Canines Palatable tablets

Each 700 mg tablet contains: Marbofloxacin 100 mg, Excipients q.s.ad  tablet.

Treatment of infections caused by bacterial strains sensitive to marbofloxacin. Between them: skin infections such as intertrigo, folliculitis, impetigo, furunculosis, superficial or deep pyoderma; upper and lower urinary tract infections, associated or not with prostatitis or epididymitis; respiratory tract infections; infections of the soft tissues, wounds, abscesses, phlegmons; canine  leishmaniasis.

Marboxi-Tabs® 100 is administered orally. The recommended dose is 2.75 to 5.5 mg/kg/day in a single daily administration. The practical dose is 1 tab/18 - 36 Kg p.v. Marbofloxacin is well tolerated in medium-sized growing dogs up to a dose of 4 mg/kg bodyweight/day for 13 weeks. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Treatment should be discontinued after a maximum of 10 days, if there is no apparent clinical improvement. Marboxi-Tabs® 100 is a palatable tablet which facilitates its administration and should be administered preferably without food, on an empty stomach. Alternatively, if applicable, it can be administered by opening the animal's mouth and placing the tablet deep in the back of the tongue like any other medication. If the animal vomits or does not like it, it can be given with food.
